We had a fantastic three nights here and really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend it.

The hotel was an excellent base for enjoying a nice area, close to everything: ADO, town center and the lakefront, the center and transport links. The unit we got was neat with airco. Totally recommend this place and would stay there again.

Had a lovely time at a "bird-themed" hotel. Enjoyed the free WiFi, bikes, and air conditioning. The garden with a terrace was perfect for sipping my champagne.

Who needs an airport nearby anyway? So inconvenient.

This room is so cozy and welcoming, with a cute patio that adds a nice touch. I loved sitting out there, enjoying the garden views and fresh air. It made me feel right at home.

The only thing I didn't love was the fully equipped kitchen. For me, I prefer to have meals prepared for me while on vacation.

I had a great time staying at La Casa De Las Aves. The family who took care of us was really nice and their kids were super friendly. We even got to play with their adorable dog, Jessie. The location was perfect, with everything we needed nearby like grocery stores, fruit stands, and a soccer field. The bikes provided by the hotel were a game changer, especially for my 5-year-old son who loved riding along with me. The rooftop terrace was amazing with its swings and the colorful wall paintings added a unique touch. The beds were comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. The owner, Antonio, was extremely helpful and friendly, answering all our questions and even lending us bikes to explore Bacalar. I had a great experience at La Casa De Las Aves and would highly recommend it.

The plants and wooden furniture added a nice touch to the ambiance. the inclusion of bicycles in the stay was a great bonus, making it easy to explore the nearby areas. the room itself was comfortable and clean, with a good mattress and functioning air conditioning. the location was convenient, being just a short walk from the bus station and close enough to the town center and lake, making it easy to access all the attractions in the area.

There were some disappointing aspects to the stay. the shared kitchen was in need of a revamp and was often dirty, with a lack of cleaning supplies like dish soap available.

The facility was great, with multiple areas on the rooftop to relax and enjoy the hammocks or seating areas. The availability of bicycles for guests made it convenient to explore the town easily. Additionally, the location was ideal, with everything within walking distance, including the town center.

The beds were not very comfortable, and the water pressure in the showers was low. There were also a lot of barking street dogs in the area, which could be quite noisy.
